The National Maritime Museum Cornwall is just five minutes’ stroll from here. Walk beside the harbour to Pendennis Castle, then take the ferry over to the lovely St Mawes to explore its sister castle.
A short drive takes you to the nearby Helford Estuary, with its romantic little creeks and pretty villages. Also nearby is the Lizard Peninsula, home to the UK’s most southerly point. There is a wealth of beautiful gardens in the area: Trebah, Glendurgan and Trelissick, which can be reached by ferry.
Situated on a quiet road between Gyllyngvase Beach and Falmouth town centre, you can leave your car behind and explore the beautiful local area.
